Carrie was born and raised in Canton, China and is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and Toishanese. Being trilingual and bi-cultural helps Carrie gain trust from the Chinese community in the Bay Area and opportunities to introduce end of life\/hospice care to group. Carrie has been a volunteer for CACCC for ten years.
