Graduate of the Graduate School of Social Studies at National Taiwan University, with a Master’s and Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Oregon, specializing in early childhood cognitive development and parenting education. In 1991, she founded Parent-Child Paradise, a volunteer program to answer Chinese parents’ questions about parenting. In recent years, she has been invited to give talks, lead book clubs, and conduct parenting classes at various locations in the Bay Area.
