Loss and Grief

The five-week Loss and Grief program provides a supportive environment to explore and process grief. We’ll cover topics like loss and grief, while discussing strategies for facing and overcoming grief, finding comfort and companionship during these difficult times, and creating meaningful life memorials. Each week offers practical tools and emotional support to navigate your journey.

Lost & Grief 2026 Class

A heartfelt reflection from a participant in our June 2026 Loss & Grief course:

“Loss and grief are lessons none of us can escape. A friend told me about this course, and I felt drawn to it right away — I wanted to heal my own grief, and to be able to comfort others facing loss. Every session gave me something meaningful: caregivers and care-receivers both need to say sorry, goodbye, thank you, and I love you. If life has meaning, suffering does too. Accompanying someone isn’t about curing them, but walking beside them. I also learned to hold onto life’s warm moments to carry me through the hard ones. Heartfelt thanks to CACCC for this precious lesson in life.”
