Dr. Chen is the Director of the Hospice and Palliative Care Unit at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University Hospital, and a specialist in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
With many years of experience in critical care medicine, Dr. Chen has provided frontline care for patients at the end of life. Dr. Chen has also been actively involved in advancing end-of-life care in Taiwan, including promoting the enactment of the Patient Right to Autonomy Act and amendments to the Hospice Palliative Care Act.
