Alex Tsao, PhD – Mindfulness and Gratitude

Dr. Alex Tsao, PhD currently serves as a board member of CACCC and coordinator of the Speakers Bureau, which is responsible for coordinating community education and outreach seminars to promote end-of-life care in the Chinese community. Tsao has over 30 years of experience in the technology field, having worked as a technical manager at a satellite communications company and as the founder and CEO of a wireless network company. In recent years, he has been involved in community volunteerism, serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society’s California Chinese Chapter and as a board member of the Alzheimer’s Association’s Northern California and Northern Nevada Chapters. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer’s Association National Council and is the Chairman of its Chinese Advisory Committee of the Northern California and Northern Nevada Chapter. He is also an advisory board member of the New Hope Chinese Cancer Care Foundation and an advisory board member of the El Camino Hospital Chinese Health Initiative. At the same time, he is also a volunteer for the Tzu Chi Foundation.
