In June 2019, the founder of CACCC, Ms. Sandy Chen Stokes, the board member Dr. Gary Lee and volunteer Cheryl Chi visited Wuhan, China to help with the growth and development of palliative and hospice care among Chinese health care professionals. The trip was sponsored by Project HOPE. During their visit, they conducted a four day training class to a group of nurses from the major hospitals in Wuhan, and attended the Oncology Nursing Committee of the Chinese Nursing Association Annual Meeting. Dr. Lee wrote an article to share his experience with all the CACCC friends.
