For the past 25 years, Judy’s leadership, advocacy and seminal work in advancing healthcare for Californians – from serious illness, end-of-life care, advance care planning, Physician Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment (POLST), long-term care, palliative care, to cultural considerations, development of standardized curriculums, public policy, to on-the-ground program implementation – has been exemplary.
