From being a front-line medical caregiver to being a full-time caregiver, I have gained a different and deeper understanding of “inevitable death”. The experience and journey of accompanying a family member with cancer and dementia through cancer treatment to hospice care has solidified why I chose to face bereavement through community service and life and death education.
