Do you think a lot and lose track of what you’re doing? The practice of mindfulness, which allows you to maintain careful awareness and focus in the present moment, has been widely used in mainstream medicine to reduce stress and promote physical and mental health. Although the practice of mindfulness is an ancient wisdom that originated from meditation, it has no religious overtones and is suitable for everyone to learn.
Teresa is lecturer and project leader of CACCC’s Mindfulness Caregiving Stress Reduction program. She is an award-winning translator who has translated many books on mindfulness and has received training in mindfulness for stress reduction herself.
